Front & Rear Seats & Cushion Repair
At Sydney Motor Trimmers we specialise in the repair and restoration of leather, cloth and vinyl car seats. Whether you have a scratch, scuff, tear, burn or stain we can repair the damage. In the event of rips or cuts we may need to replace a panel or section. Our seat repair service covers repairs to vehicle seat covers, foams, springs and frames; general wear and tear, worn bolsters, deployed airbags, vandalism, cigarette burns etc. In most cases, we are able to replace just the individual panels of the seat cover that are damaged thus minimising costs. It is only in more extreme cases that a total recover may be necessary.
We specialise in all vehicle makes and models
Models we specialise in include – Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Austin, Bentley, BMW, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Corvette, Dodge, Ferrari, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Saab, Volkswagen and Volvo.
Car Seat Repair Service
Our highly skilled trimmers can accommodate every type of seat repair you might require. Seat repairs break down into upholstery problems and mechanical problems. Upholstery problems generally are variations of torn, worn, soiled or damaged upholstery.
If you have any of these, we can:
- Repair the damaged areas
- Install a replacement genuine cover
- Replace one or several “panels” with the same or similar materials
- Re-upholster the seat completely in the same or similar materials
- Re-cover the seat completely in a new material
- We can use leather, vinyl or cloth, or we can install a leather interior conversion
At Sydney Motor Trimmers, the majority of seat repairs we do involve the partial replacement of leather or vinyl. Therefore, we’ve developed considerable knowledge in matching these materials by colour and grain. Mercedes leather is different to BMW leather, Lexus leather and Jaguar leather. We maintain a large selection of leather and vinyl for different manufacturers. If we don’t have it in stock, we can usually get it from our suppliers within a day or two.
Inside of a seat
We are fully trained and have an in house welding facility to repair broken seat frames. Our most common mechanical work is repair/replacement of seat frames and springs.
