Carpets

If your vehicle’s carpets are worn, damaged, or simply not the right colour, we can replace them with a fresh new set. The best option depends on the vehicle's age and carpet availability:

  • Vehicles built after 2010 – We recommend replacing carpets with genuine ones sourced from the vehicle manufacturer for the best fit and quality.

  • 1990s–2010 vehicles – Some models have aftermarket moulded carpets available, while others may require a custom hand-made solution or a genuine replacement.

  • 1970s–1990s vehicles – Aftermarket moulded carpets are often available for most models, providing a seamless fit.

  • Pre-1970 vehicles – We offer two options:

    1. Pre-made carpet kits (often sourced from overseas) that we can professionally fit.

    2. Hand-made carpets tailored specifically to your vehicle for a perfect fit.

We offer a variety of carpet materials, from basic cut and loop piles to Wilton wool and velour, commonly used in prestige vehicles.

Carpet Repairs

One of the most common issues is wear and tear in the driver’s footwell, where constant pedal use creates holes. Instead of replacing the entire carpet, we can install heel pads to cover and protect the area. This is a cost-effective solution that can often be completed while you wait.

Water-Damaged Carpets

Water damage is a common issue, especially after storms or when a car has a leaking soft top or sunroof. In most cases:

  • The carpet itself is synthetic and can be removed, cleaned, and refitted.

  • The underlay, however, is typically a natural material that can rot, leading to mould and unpleasant odors.

If your windows have condensation inside the car in the morning, there’s a high chance your underlay is damp. We can:

  1. Identify and fix the source of the leak.

  2. Remove, wash, and refit the carpet.

  3. Replace the underlay to prevent mould and odors.

Important: In modern vehicles, water damage can cause thousands of dollars in electronic repairs if left untreated. Addressing it early can save significant costs.
